People with disabilities, our nation's largest and fastest growing minority, are now 54 million strong. The members are of no particular color or religious affiliation and, as our population increases and ages, the statistics demonstrate that we can all expect to join this group for an average of 13 years of our lives.

Companies need qualified employees. In the words of President George Bush, "You have in your hands the key . . . you can unlock a splendid resource of untapped human potential that, when free, will enrich us all." Furthermore, to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, companies with certain government contracts are required to seek people with disabilities.
